What's Your Why?

Finding and receiving better health comes from deep within. From a natural health perspective, in order to begin seeing healthy changes it's important to begin by establishing your why. Why do you want to get healthier? Well most people would think that this is a really dumb question and that the answer should be that they don't want to be sick and they don't want to feel horrible every day. So again I ask, "what's your why?" The reason I ask this is because people always go through the motions of complaining about not feeling well, but then continue to stay sick, don't lose weight when they need to and they just continue to stay on a path that leads them into feeling worse and worse. Once you've established in your own being, from a deeper place as to why you want to be healthier, this is when the true healing begins. Oh it might not happen over night, but as you find your why it opens you up to focus upon yourself more and more.
Here's a great example... I'll use the name Susie, but this isn't her actual name. Susie is a client of mine whose been struggling to lose weight and has had a lot of constant health concerns and scares over the last few years. Susie feels horrible on most days with constant headaches, pain in her knees and hip, her blood pressure is high, and she is constantly fighting through a cold or something more severe. Almost every day she's been in bitter agony and she has felt that she'll never be able to feel well again. Susie see's her regular medical doctor regularly, and he continues to pump her up with all kinds of prescription drugs, but the drugs are only helping to mask the symptoms temporarily and never helping Susie get to a place of better well being overall. Finally after a few years of struggle, Susie found her why? She realized that she still had a place in this world to make a difference, but that she couldn't even get to see her life's goals and dreams come true, unless she made changes. Since Susie found her why, she has lost over 75 pounds, the headaches are becoming less frequent, she rarely has pain in her knees and hips anymore and her blood pressure has come down tremendously. Finding her why, pushed Susie into being completely focused on herself and not letting anyone else get in her way. I got her on a very healthy nutritional eating and simple exercise program which has helped pave the way for her to move in a healthier direction. And this is what was never done in the medical doctors office, because it's part of the natural wellness path, something that the medical profession really doesn't understand.
Find your why, believe in yourself and make your dreams and better health come true.
Light and Love for only great health,
Patty
