Migraines & Tension Headaches

Headaches seem to be more common today, than ever.  More and more people are having headaches and most people really don't understand why.

Tension headaches are becoming more of the norm these days with stress being at some of its highest levels that it's ever been at. And then there is the powerhouse mega migraine headache, which can be so debilitating that it can completely wipe out your day when it knocks you down.  Neither of these are good when you're trying to get through your day.

According to the American College of Physicians, 45 million Americans suffer from chronic headaches.  They are  among the most common disorders of the nervous system.

What You May Experience:

Tension Headaches - You may have pain and a feeling of squeezing in your head.  Sometimes the pain may be dull and then at other times the pain can become more severe, but most people can still get through their day, even when it's a little bit challenging.

Migraine Headaches - You may have dull or severe pain in your forehead, temples, top of your head and even possibly at the back of your head.  Most migraine sufferers cannot handle bright lights, strong scents such as perfumes, foods being cooked, candles, etc., and a feeling of being hot can make the migraine even worse.  Another symptom of a migraine can be nausea and sometimes can also be followed by vomiting.
