What does it take to keep looking and feeling #young? Our #body has the ability to age slowly and not have #wrinkles or any gray hair. There's a simple answer and the answer is; eat right, exercise, get adequate sleep, stress less and hydrate yourself with tons of water every day.
Feeding the Body
One of the most important things is eating the right food, so that your body receives adequate nourishment. If you eat processed or cooked foods, you're just filling yourself up with chemicals and the cooked food kills off most all vital nutrients. Not only is it important to eat organic and raw foods from the earth since these foods are healing. it's vital to your health. If your body isn't healthy or you're not feeding it enough nourishment, then the body will begin the aging process and continue aging you, making your face look older and your skin more wrinkled. Getting an old look has nothing to do with the age we are. Getting older looking is all correlated with how we care for our body and what you feed it. Science has also proven that we can reverse the signs of aging just by eating properly and giving our body NOURISHMENT.
Drinking Water
If you're not drinking at least half of your body weight in ounces of water every day, then your body is more than likely dehydrated. Dehydration is one of the leading causes of aging. When your skin is dehydrated it will look dull and begin to wrinkle. As we increase our water intake and hydrate ourselves well, the skin plumps itself up and wrinkles can lesson. Water is extremely important for an optimal functioning healthy body, but it is also extremely important and vital to slow down the aging process.
Adequate Sleep
If you're not getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night, your body won't have the ability to repair itself. Our cells replenish and get healthy as we sleep, anything under 7 hours is not enough if you want to feel great and continue to look young and have a great complexion. The body needs to be rested in order to achieve great health and slow the aging process down.
If you took a picture of yourself on Friday afternoon and did absolutely nothing the entire weekend, but lay around, rest and take naps throughout the weekend, feed it well and drink lots of water, then by Monday morning if you took another picture of yourself, you'd probably see the difference in how your skin and complexion look versus how it looked on Friday. It will probably look more radiant and vibrant and have a little less wrinkles. Give it a try and see what you notice.
Stress Less
Stress is a major culprit for aging the body. Do whatever you can to keep the stress at bay. Exercise, do yoga, deep breathing and maybe even take a hot bath. If you want to keep looking young, keep the stress away.
Alcohol, Cigarettes and Coffee
If you drink alcohol try limiting yourself to one drink per week. If you smoke, then STOP. If you drink more than a cup of coffee per day, stop this too. Alcohol, cigarettes and coffee will dehydrate the body and they are definite contributors of the aging process. The chemicals within the cigarettes are also so bad for the body that it will cause pre-mature aging. Take your pick... If you want to look young longer, get rid of the alcohol, cigarettes and coffee.
I work hard on my body to keep it in it's most excellent condition. No I'm not perfect, but I do focus on it every day, at each meal to make sure I only eat healthy foods. I also get a gallon jug of water in the morning and have it finished before I go to bed each day and exercise as often as I can each week. At night I insure to get at least 7 hours of sleep because I know if I don't, it'll hurt my body and I just won't feel great the next day.
Aging slowly is important to me, so I do what I need to, to try and keep my body healthy and looking young. Many people feel that we should just accept the fact that we're getting older, be proud of aging and we should accept the fact that wrinkles are going to show up and old age is going to appear. I completely disagree with all those mindsets and feel that it's a copout to taking care of your body adequately. The body is strong enough and resilient enough to keep the aging process away if we take care of it correctly. You don't have to have wrinkles and you don't have to have gray hair, but what you do have to do is be focused on taking care of yourself to keep it young.
Light & Love,
Patty
