Dairy... Is It Really Bad For You?

How bad can #dairy really be? It's in a lot of the foods we love to eat.


The dairy industry is a multi-billion dollar industry, which makes sense because everyone just loves to eat cheese, ice cream, yogurt and everything else that's so absolutely yummy. But as you consume all these foods made with milk and you devour that incredible cheese pizza or grilled cheese sandwich that gives you a sense of comfort at the same time, you're also throwing a curve ball at your body, offering it a greater risk for a multitude of illness. Yes, you are offering illness to your body.


In study after study, dairy is proving to increase inflammation in the body, change hormone levels and alter a once healthy body into a body infected with allergies, fatigue, weight gain, constipation, unbalanced emotions, skin disorders, headaches, pain, and a whole lot of other things. This is just a small list. "The truth is, dairy can lead to countless health issues and, for many, can cause more harm than good." (1)


Why? The milk that comes from a cow has hormones that are meant to grow their calves larger, more quickly. Their hormones are not meant for humans, they are meant for baby cows. I really hope you just processed this statement and truly understand it. Cows milk is for baby cows, not humans. When the human body indulges dairy products all day long, we are poisoning our bodies with so many hormones, that we really weren't designed for. So the body's reaction is inflammation and a whole list of other health consequences.


Additionally, most cows milk has tons of antibiotics, pesticides and who knows what else in it. Cows are constantly given antibiotics because they get infections (mastitis) from being milked way too often. "Mastitis is the inflammation of the mammary gland and udder tissue. It is a major endemic disease of dairy cattle. It usually occurs as an immune response to bacterial invasion of the teat canal by variety of bacterial sources present on the farm, and can also occur as a result of chemical, mechanical, or thermal injury to the cow’s udder." (2) There are many farmers who don't have a care in the world for these cows either, so their feed is loaded with pesticides. Whatever the cow eats or is injected with, you too receive.


Another thing to think about the next time you want to eat a bowl of your favorite chocolate ice cream is the amount of fat that's in it. Did you ever stop and think about how much fat is in milk? Milk is loaded with fat and many people often try to buy reduced fat or non fat milk products, but milk just isn't good for you. If you're tired of having pain or having constant inflammation, get off of the dairy products. This fat also contributes to and is associated with cardiovascular disease. Dairy isn't worth consuming if you want to feel great and be healthy.


Cows that are produced for milk within the industry can also be emotionally traumatized, but you'll never know this. When any animal or human produces milk, it's because they just had a baby and they need to insure the baby is getting the proper nutrition in its early months. Milk cows are having to produce milk on an ongoing basis, year after year. These emotions that they go through is energy and if you haven't guessed it yet, you're absorbing these emotions from the cows when you ingest all this dairy because emotions are energy. If the cow is feeling traumatized, you might very well begin feeling on edge or out of sorts and not really realize that it could be from the energy you received from the milk. When people can't see energy, they often times believe that it doesn't exist, but the fact of the matter is that energy does exist and it can be passed on through the cows milk to you.


Just remember that dairy products create an unhealthy body, so try to slowly stop eating all dairy products. There are excellent plant based substitutes. And if there's a substitute that you don't like, try another till you find the one that tastes the best. When you eat foods that come from nature and you eat it raw, you will always be supplied with nutrition and a sense of well being. God gave us plants as our food and as our medicine. Eat off the land more. Eat your plants raw, and watch how quickly any health issues you might have, disappear.
